Welcome to the first Official Chapter of the South Bay. We are here to have fun, talk racing and get together and enjoy all that is NASCAR. This chapter is for all race fans (fanatics)and local ONMC members. So feel free to join us and cheer for your favorite driver(s). If you know of a special event or have some ideas for future race parties, just drop me line. If you would like to join our Chapter, send me an email with your ONMC Membership number. That way you won't miss out on any of the events in the greater So. CA area.

NASCAR Day is
teamwork in action. It’s volunteering. It’s

children. Annually celebrated on the third Friday
in May, NASCAR Day is a charitable celebration of the
NASCAR spirit that enables fans and partners to join
together to make a
difference in the lives of
children. NASCAR Day encourages fans to make a
$5 donation for a collectible lapel pin which in turn
will support
programs that help children live
happier, healthier lives. Since it began in 2004,
NASCAR Day has raised nearly $8 million for charity.

Speediatrics units - Granted more than 500
NASCAR-themed wishes, and
- Offered children a
safe place to play, in race track
communities
across the country.

Announcement: Adam - FINALLY Home at Victory Junction

This is the latest
news about Adam the Bear. He was living a very good
life with Uncle Brad, the winner, and he made this
outstanding tribute. Adam has finally been sent to live out
his life at Victory Junction Gang Camp!!
"I
truly know where this belongs and who it would really
honor, the Petty’s and Victory Junction Gang Camp.
Maybe some day, some way, Adam the Bear and the frame
will get there. I also lost someone very close to me,
my 23 year old nephew to a diving accident so I guess
that’s why my heart is so leaning towards giving this
piece up to the Petty’s. Mitch’s story and
foundation can be seen at www.mitchellswabackfoundation.org."
I am not an ONMC member, but just want to say
thanks again to everyone who made this possible. Please
let everyone know that more than likely Adams journey
is not
over!
